Description
In April 2011, Montblanc introduced a new men's fragrance called Legend, designed for men who are inspiring, virtuous, self-confident, courageous, passionate, and authentic. The scent is subtle yet striking and masculine.
Created by perfumer Olivier Pescheux, this aromatic fougère fragrance is filled with contrasts, blending notes that evoke strength and tenderness, tradition and modernity. It opens with fresh aromatic tones of bergamot, lavender, pineapple leaf, and exotic verbena (Litsea Cubeba). The heart features oakmoss (using the evernyl molecule) combined with geranium, coumarin, apple, rose, and Pomarosa molecule (dried fruit notes). The base is composed of sandalwood, tonka bean, and evernyl.
The fragrance is housed in a heavy, slightly curved bottle of black and metallic colors, inspired by the iconic Meisterstück pen design, made from glass and metal. The design is minimalistic and luxurious, perfectly reflecting the concept behind this fragrance. The black and white campaign features Simon Clark, photographed by Peter Lindbergh.
