Description
French tennis player René Lacoste created his first polo shirt in 1927, identified by the code L.12.12. ("L" for Lacoste, 1 for the Petit Piqué material, 2 for short sleeves, and 12 for the number of prototypes made). Inspired by their iconic polos, Lacoste launched three new masculine fragrances: L.12.12. White, L.12.12. Blue, and L.12.12. Green.
Each fragrance corresponds to a different polo shirt color: White signifies simplicity, elegance, and freshness; Blue symbolizes intensity, aquatic life, and masculinity; Green represents nature and positivity.
L.12.12. White is a classic floral woody fragrance featuring top notes of grapefruit, cardamom, rosemary, and cedar leaf, with a heart of Mexican tuberose and ylang-ylang. The base notes include sensual leather, suede, and cedar.
The design of Lacoste L.12.12. fragrances reflects simplicity, elegance, and the brand’s sophistication. The bottles are sleek and minimalistic, adorned with the brand's iconic crocodile logo, reminiscent of embroidered cloth, and textured to evoke the feel of a polo shirt.
