Jean Paul Gaultier introduced Ultra Male, its new fragrance, in summer 2015. Positioned as a reinterpretation and intensified version of the iconic Le Male from 1995, Ultra Male is described as masculine, intense, seductive, and delicately balanced with contrasting notes, offering a spicier twist on the original.
The fragrance unfolds with citrusy bergamot, complemented by juicy pear, aromatic black lavender, and refreshing mint in the opening. The heart of the scent reveals spicy notes of cumin and cinnamon, intertwined with aromatic clary sage. The base notes feature the richness of black vanilla, warm amber, and woody accords, creating a lasting and sensual trail. Francis Kurkdjian is the perfumer behind this creation.
Model Jarrod Scott fronts the advertising campaign, embodying the essence of Ultra Male. The fragrance is presented in the iconic torso-shaped bottle, this time adorned in dark blue with black stripes, reflecting its bold and charismatic character.
